2001 Kia Sportage wont start

Car overheated and shut down all coolant was gone in the radiator let it sit till it cooled down put coolant in and it still wont start checked oil and there is no water in it

You may have some serious internal damage now. You need to do a cooling system pressure test with all of the spark plugs removed and then a compression test to see what kind of shape it's in.
