2001 Jeep Cherokee Repair Question

Where is the turn signal flasher in a jeep cherokee 2001
Can't seem to locate the flasher. The manual does't show where either. My turn signals make a irritating sound when put on and the little arrow inticators stop with the sound but then go again when the sound goes off for a second
