I'm thinking about purchasing a jaguar X type sports model car. It does not have cruise control. If I purchased a steering wheel that had cruise control switches on it would that be sufficient to enable cruise control on the car? My auto electrician has also asked does the car run a seperate cruise control computer or is it through the comfort control computer. He has also asked does it run wiring and slip ring from the steering wheel or is it infra red. Does it run vacum bellows or electric motor? Thanks for considering my questions. Keith
