When starting car in morning motor starts revs to 1200 RPM then slows to 800 RPM and 15-20 seconds then restart. Car runs fine.

After above occurs, sometimes when driving above 1200 RPM, CEL flashes when I reduce RPM, CEL comes on solid, then when I accerlate it starts flashing again. Pull over, shut engine off, wait 20-30 seconds, start engine everything is ok. Had codes run, they indicate misfire and O2 sensors bad. Will the O2 sensor cause there problems?
