Hello, I have a 2001 Infiniti QX4 with a Electronic Shift On-the-Fly transfer case. I am having issues with the 4WD system. I can shift into Auto 4WD then back to 2WD when driving at a higher rate of speed perfectly fine. It is only when I try to do so at a low speed or going in reverse that the 4WD warning lamp comes on. I did the self diagnostic which pointed to the transfer motor, which makes sense because the transfer motor drives the sub oil pump to provide proper lubrication and oil pressure control at standstill, low speeds, or in reverse. Now I am just struggling with trying to find the right part. All Ebay listings I found under transfer motor are actually for the electronic shift actuator. Would you be able to provide me with a part number? Also, should I not use 4WD at all because of the issues at standstill and low speed? I do not want to damage the transfer case. Thanks.
