My infiniti i30 cranks but won't start. I replaced battery (needed to be done ) and still nothing. I thought it was fuel pump - but pump works fine (tested after removed). Just noticed today, when I turn the key (setting before start) - dash display is missing engine light and security light is full red (on) when in this mode. Never seen this before.

My fear - computer might be fried, I sure hope not. So I checked all fuses (from the fuse boxes I located) all fuses are ok. Spark plugs ok - and all electrical work. Any suggestions?

Sorry and by all electrical work I mean to say all the electrical components in the car are working ok (i.E. Lights, signals, radio etc).

You may have to relearn your security system. We dont have that info available but may be with book in car if you have one. The dealer may let you know how to reset it.

Thanks - so security system would disable the engine light on the dash and would make the engine crank but not start?

Yes, thats why there is a security system, to disable the car so it won't start or if it does it will only run for a few seconds.
