Iave a 2001 hyundia tiburon I have recently bought second hand. I have cleaned the injectors and fuel rail and many other parts. When I accelarate and the car is tacking 4000 - 4500 rpm's is feels like the car slips into neutral, stops accelaratingnd then drops back down into gear and puts you back in the seat. This effect cycles on the passing and some of the regular gears while only gaining about 2-3 miles and hour at a time.
there is also a vibration coming from the drivetrain what could it be?

It sounds like the clutches are slipping. Check to make sure the trans fluid is full and clean. Also, if the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned for trouble codes.

The check engine light hasnt came on. But after driving anymore than around town the check engine light will blink on and off for about 30 seconds and then stay turned on steadly. I have plugged a code reader computer into my car. It said the emmissions controll system inncorect perge flow. I have already diagnosed the problem by cleanign out my injectors. Befor it was running ruff. Now the problem is that the trans isnt converting the power over from the engine. When I step on the gas in a low gear the drivetrain vibrates and it doesnt seem like it gaing as much speed as it should. When I strart it cold and I first take the car out I can put it to the floor and have normal power right up to the red line. These problems only occure after she has bee running. At idle I can feel a nocking throught the floor board.

That is odd. Since you can feel the knocking, have you checked things like mounts?

This car is automatic. I think it might be the bands in the trans. Or a rotted vacume line. Does anybody have anymore ideas or information that they think is elligable for this problem.
Thanks
