indicates a P1502 code(wheel speed sensor circuit problem)-due to funding problems I will fix in 1-2 mths-besides annoying are there any problems or damage that can occur as a result of waitting. The car drives/runs fine-shifting is predictable(same aproximate speed on a consistant basis usually. My question are there any safety/operability issues by waitting to repair?

this may help. Bulletin BPI 03-16Subject:Wheel speed sensor may cause engine-control problems. Vehicle Involved: 2001-2003 Hyundai Elantra2003 Hyundai TiburonCondition: Some Hyundai’s without Anti Lock Brakes are equipped with wheelspeed sensors. Vehicles listed above that have 2.0 liter 4 cylinder engines use the frontright wheel speed sensor input for engine control data. In these vehicles the enginecontrol computer compares the right front wheel speed sensor signal to the vehiclespeed sensor signal. The comparison of signals tells the computer if the car is beingdriven on a rough road. If this is so, the computer shuts down the engine misfiremonitoring system. If the engine control system does not receive a signal from thewheel speed sensors, it will illuminate the check engine light. Trouble code P1502“Short or open wheel speed sensor circuit.” You can check the circuit with a digital volt-ohmmeter. Resistance should read about 1.4k ohms
