Hi what is the easiest find out whythe Air Bag Light is staying on?

What is the easiest way to find out exactly what the problem is for a check engine light to come on-without going to the dealer?
The light flickered for a while and now it just stays on continuously.

no easy way, very dangerous system to mess with unless you have expierence. have a shop check it for you. there are many tsb out for issues with wire harness on these systems but i suggest you do not try to do anything on this system yourself.
