I have replaced the camshaft balance chain on my car. Where should the marks on the sprockets at the rear of the engine be facing?

The previous picture appears to a a DOHC driven by a chain. Alldata does not show any option for a DOHC in that vehicle for that year but apparently Mitchell does. Since the poster is asking about a balance shaft chain and that picture seems to be a cam chain, there still seems to be some confusion on the issue.

I recently replaced the head on my 2003 Hyundai 1.6 liter accent and I have DOHC I did align the marks on the camshaft sprockets with the camshaft chain, but I noticed when I manually turn the camshaft over 360 the marks on the sprockets are not aligned with the marks on the chains. Should the line back up? Being that I already aligned them, is this normal? This is confusing me, any advice will be appreciated.

The chain would not line up again until after many revolutions of the cam sprockets. If you reverse the crank turning back to initial, it would line up.
