I got a big oil leak from the area of the engine where the transmission and the engine come together. I have not fully looked into this leak yet but if its the oil pan gasket I can take care of that with no problems but if its not the gasket would it be the rear main seal the oil is leaking from. This leak left a good sized puddle on my garage floor. Also there is a small leak that seems to be coming from the crank pulley area and when I looked behind the pulley from underneath the car I could see oil droplets forming behind it so do I need a new crank seal?

Actually clean the engine to get a definitive area he the leak is. If it's the rear main then the trans has to comeo out cold be ahead gasket too though. And if it leaks at crank seal replace it.
