2001 Honda Civic Repair Question

Honda Civic Gas Problem

My car ran out of gas i went to put a can of gas i had i didnt realize the was another substance in there looks like oil or somethn i went to buy a fuel pump replaced it my car isnt starting at all

you may have to drain the tank and flush it out to get rid of the other substance

I already drained the tank and flushed it out it still wont start

When i changed the fuel pump i ddnt put in a new filter can that be the problem?

yes, change that first, add about 5 gallons and drain it again.

can you hear the pump working??

Oh k how would i drain it i sucked out all the gass and wiped it

They flushed it out with gas
