I have a 2001 Holden vectra v6 with a blown engine will a 2001 Holden vectra 4 cylinder engine fit in it and would I need to change anything

You would need to change everything. Possibly the trans, complete wiring harness, all sensors and computer and I am sure there are other things like mounts, brackets.
