Whenever starting GMC Safari, van stalls repeatedly if not pressing on gas pedal. Idles weakly. After having been run for about 5 minutes, runs normal, until turned off, then have to repeat process. No error code being thrown. Latest mechanical work done was replaced fuel filter, and Idle Control Module, but not until after problem had already started.

Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Did the replacement of the IAC make any difference?

If the IAC fixed the problem. I would recommend checking it again. It is responsible for maintaining the vehicle idle speed. When you remove it, check to make sure there is no corrosion or carbon where it mounts in the throttle body.

Let me know what you find.
