Installing GPS tracking - need dashboard wiring info

I have to connect (2) wires underneath the dashboard to my 2001 Ford Taurus, the amps to be between 9 to 40 amps. Have no clue which wires to connect to, I do know one is to be grounded by simply attaching to metal somewhere, but which amp wire location, so that it wouldn't be seen without really looking for it. Any help? Thanks in advance. Jim

One way to do it, is at the battery positive terminal with an inline 20 amp fuse-

Has to be underneath the dashboard, can not be installed out where the engine is at. Have no clue what your saying about an inline 20 amp fuse, any other help you might can offer?
