2001 Ford Taurus Repair Question

Im having a problem with my A/C the air compressor will not come on and my cooling fans constantly stay running and will not shut off.

I have Change the a/c low pressure and the a/c cut off switch and all the relays

do you have power to the compressor?? do you have freon in the system???

yes. my cooling fan constantly runs and will not shut off will driving or idling . no I don't have power to the compressor

do you have any pressure in the system as you need at least 25-30 lbs to engage the compressor

well, you have replaced many parts with no result. it is time for help from a shop to at least diag it for the failure. at this point, it could be a wiring issue.

I had the same issue with my taurus it turn out to be the ECT sensor it looks like a temp sensor , it only has one wire coming from it make sure its plugged in and wires are intact

sorry, ect sensor has no effect on the ac system.
