Well when I go to brake at a stop sign I hear a click click click noise kinda like a a playing card going against spokes on a bicicycle it only does it when braking to a stop and it sound like it is coming fron the front area so I thought it was maybe a u joint cause front brakes all new replaced them 6 months ago and this is the first time I have heard this noise

i would pull the wheels as it is brake related. the backing plte, hardware or something else may be giving you the noise.

Would a cv join make that noise how you tell if that is going bad or a wheel bearing is going bad

if either one was bad, it would do it all the time not just braking.
