2001 Ford Focus • 4 cylinder FWD •

I need to manually slack the break pads to take the drum off, what are the spec to reajust or do they reajust by themself the first time I'll break?

You have to manually adjust the shoes up. What you do is keep adjusting the shoes up a little at a time till you here a slight scraping sound from the drum scraping the shoes as you turn the drum by hand. Don't try adjusting them with a warped drum.

Hey Saturntech, just wanted to add a little info, the rear adjusters are self adjusters on this Focus they will adjust automatically with the operation of the brake.
