2001 Ford Focus Repair Question

Ford Focus Clutch Problem
Only got a bit of byte on my clutch have to lift foot nearly all the way.can not crawl on clutch alone as engine cuts out and only just bought the car so does it need a new cluth and how much would it cost

check to see if you have propper adjust ment and make sure engine runs right. prices vary accross u.s. for work.
