High rpms at startup and while stopped
When i start the car it will rev as high as 4000 rpms, once i get going drives fine though. whil stopped the car will continue reving and ultimately shut off. it turns back on and continues to drive but it is doing it at every stop now. ive been told its a bad vaccum hose. what do you think?

Check for vacuum leaks, and also check the idle air control valve. If the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned to identify trouble codes. Most parts stores will do it for free.
