Ford Excursion Steering Problem

Whenever I hit a bump in the road my whole front end starts to shake really badly, and it only stops when I slow down almost to a stop. What is causing this?

Ford has way more problems with steering and suspension parts separating leading to loss of control and crashes than all other manufacturers combined. Vibrations and noises must never be ignored. Have the vehicle inspected at a tire and alignment shop immediately. The cause could be as simple as a failed steering damper or as serious as a worn ball joint.
