I am going to buy a fiat punto tommorow and the lady selling me it says the camshaft has ben damaged on the way back from university, is this replacable or fixable can you let me know, the lady did say she was quoted £80 with laybour, also that the car starts and drives but makes loud noises, thank you

Its replaceable-but how did she know that the camshaft is damaged-best have it looked at before you buy and again why are buying it when you know there's a problem with the car-if its me I'll walk away-
