Won't start

I have a dodge ram 1500 2001 the battery has a full charge but when I turn the key it sounds like it tries to start but won't. If I jump the battery n start it the truck will start . What do u think the problem is

Are you saying it cranks good but won't start? Have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the spark plugs, when problem is ongoing, also, use a gage and check fuel pressure.

Engine cranking, the system receives battery voltage, because of the starter, voltage may drop to 10 volts or less, key in the crank position.

Engine running, the system receives alternator voltage, maybe around 14 volts, you see the difference?
