2001 Dodge Ram Repair Question

I was driving 2001 dodge ram 1500, the fuel was low , the engine lost power and stopped then engine shut off, I put fuel inn but engine cranks but fail to start. I try start up but still crank but fail to start, I changed plugs but wouldn't start please h
I was running on low fuel the engine lst power and one sound like backfire then engine shut off. I put in fuel but still engine crank but fail to start. I clean the plugs,I believe fuel gets to the chamber because the plugs were wet I remove them still engine cranks but fail to start.

Check for spark to plugs and fuel pressure
