Dodge Dakota Clutch Problem

2001 Dodge Dakota, 4x4, V6, 198 -200,000 miles.
Replaced entire clutch kit, flywheel turned, master and slave cylinder still having trouble? Original issue was the throw-out bearing making noise and unable to shift into 1st and reverse unless the engine was off, after replacing everything still having the shifting issues, pedal is strong no apparent air in system. Using a steering wheel puller I am able to manually disengage the clutch to free transmission. A friend has been doing the work on it, he is a certified GM mechanic currently employed by a dealership, well respected and very knowledgeable, we are just having issues with this vehicle. I have had the truck for 5+years and it has been well taken care of, HELP PLEASE!!!!!
Thanks,
Justin
