2001 Citroen Xsara Repair Question

Clutch
Hi , i have notice my biting point is higher than than usual, and now and again while i am driving a smell of rubber also when using my clutch control is this a sign of my clutch going, kind regards jay

As you have not mentioned the miles on the clock i will presume that the car has never had a clutch fitted, and being 10 years old, there is a fair chance that the clutch is due for o/haul. the fact that you report that the take up is near the top of the pedal is also a fair indication that it is worn.
