2001 Chrysler Other Repair Question

Chrysler Other Engine Problem
I drove my car today 1/4 of a mile and then I heard a snap. Now the car sounds like it's going to explode and there is a flap flap flap sound when I start it up. It smells like gas terribly. Not sure what to do...Help please!!!

I would get it towed in to a work shop do not start engine until a mechanic has inspected this.
