CHEVROLET SILVERADO LIFTERS PROBLEM
2001 Chevrolet Silverado • 157,000 miles
A while back I went to start my 5.3L engine and the rod bent so I pulled it out and tore it down and put it back together all new except the lifters then when I would drive it at about 70mph it would start ticking and sounded like a lifter was loosing prime so I tore it down again and put all new lifters in and now it is still doing the same thing with new lifters so I am seeking help with my problem. Any idea if its not a lifter what it could be?
