While doing maintenance on my truck, I unplugged the MAF Sensor. After completing the work, I mistakenly forgot to plug it back in and I drove about 7 miles. While driving, I noticed that the truck seemed to be having trouble "breathing" and I smelled something that smelled like burning rubber. I plugged the MAF Sensor back in and even tried disconnecting the battery to reset the computer, but the truck continues to run bad. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I bet you were dumping so much fuel with the MAF disconnected, you ruined the catalytic converter. Disconnect the converter to see if it runs better and let me know what happens.
