The engine service soon light is staying on I took it to pepboys and they put it on machine to tell the code and said I have a misfire in number 1 cyclinder how do I fix this. Please advise

Check plug and wire but likely a coil is bad that fires that cylinder.

Start with basics. Compression, plug, bad resistence, coil. It also could be a vacuum leak, injector or wiring.
