Chevrolet S-10 Compression Problem
The engine service soon light is staying on i took it to pepboys and they put it on machine to tell the code and said i have a misfire in number 1 cyclinder how do i fix this.please advise

check plug and wire but likely a coil is bad that fires that cylinder.

you didn't mention the driving symptoms? or whether you were just investigating a CEL.

start with basics. compression, plug, bad resistence, coil. it also could be a vacuum leak, injector or wiring.
