Bad injector leaking raw fuel into the cylinder causing the miss, hard start noise and all.

Bad spider injecter would not make this kinda noise, dont think. And the starters locking up, or can it?

I was speaking generally. I assumed you had a 4 cylinder but a 6 cylinder has a spider.

Start locks up from hydrostatic lock from liquid in the cylinder and yes it could cause the noise. Do a fuel pressure test as a start.
Please be sure to give us all the info in the future so we dont have to guess

What happens to the pressure with key off?

Does it have pressure when you first hook it up before turning the key on?
