Ok I pick some old gas in from a gas container and did not realize until it was to late the gas was milky and kinda gunky no my car worked for a while then just recently it has not been wanting to start it cranks like it wants to start and sometimes it does but then I drive ire for a little while and the car will just die on me. I have brought it to a couple of mechanics 1 is telling me it is my alternator, anther is telling me it is my fuel pump and or filter and that I need my lines flushed and another is telling me it is due to my theft system light being on but my theft lite has been on since I bought the car in march what could u diagnose.

Is the battery going dead or is the battery/alt light on? If not, no to the alternator. Next, is the security light staying on or flashing? If not, no to the anti-theft system. Since the problem just started after the old fuel was put in, the problem has to be related to that. I would start by replacing the fuel filter. If the old fuel is still in the tank, I would recommend draining it, blowing out the fuel lines, and cleaning the injectors. If you can't do all that, try just replacing the fuel line and adding good fuel to the tank. I would also use a good fuel injector cleaner. If that doesn't help, then I would check fuel pump pressure and see if the pump is producing.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.
