Why the petrol meter giving me a sign that there is more petrol inside the tank but the actual my car stop working -no petrol?
My car's petrol tank is empty but petrol meter giving me a sign that still some petrol inside the tank

Chances are the sending unit in the tank is bad. The bad part is the sending unit is part of the fuel pump. That is the first thing I would check.
