Asked on December 27, 2011

I was getting the following codes on the car please help

I ran diagnostics on the car and got these codes
PO420- Catalyst System Efficiency below threshold (bank1)
PO341- Camshaft position sensor circuit range/performance
PO128- coolant thermostat
PO440- Evaporative emission control system malfunction

What would cause these and how do I fix it?

I deleted all the codes and the check engine light went off and hasn't come back on but havent drove it much, also getting smoke out of the exhaust. Wasn't doing it when I bought the car. Don't really know much about the car. Just changed the oil today and that seemed to help the smoke a little?

It's not the original engine. I can tell you its a 3400 sfi, I can still give you the VIN if it will help but it isn't the original engine.
