01 cavalier died and won't start. It's getting fire and is turning over just fine. How do I know if it's not a timing problem.

Checked fuzes and relays and everything is good. How loud should the fuel pump be? Heard a pop and then it died and it will not start. Thank you for your help.

So you have spark? What is your actual fuel pressure?Have you checked to see what your compression readings are?

Thanks for the quick response. I do have spark and am not sure how to check for fuel pressure. I am limited with the amount of tools I have to work with. Do I check the fuel line on top or by the tank.

Theres a valve with threads on it going up to the fuel rail thats where you check the fuel pressure. You can rent a fuel pressure gauge at auto zone Do you have some carb spray?
