CAN YOU REPLACE THE OIL PAN GASKET WITH THE ENGINE IN THE CAR

I REPLACE THE TIMING CHAIN BUT HAVE A LEAK IN FRONT

you can but it's not easy, you'll hav eot jack the engine up , and put the crank in a good position to get the oil pan off. you might take the dist cap and rotor off so you don't damage those. or move them out of the way.
