Chevrolet Astro Gauges Problem
Van runs well now. Had trouble in damp weather, replaced coil. Fixed.
Trouble is the fuel and temperature guage work in all but drive and third gear. Either gear will
make turn those gauges off (and the transmission indicator). Also, all warning lights come on when
the two gauges turn off.
This only happens when engine is running. IF engine off and ignition all, all systems are normal. This is a
very consistent problem. 1.5 seconds after putting in drive, warning lights go on, fuel and temp gauges go off.
