Have you tried from the outside handle, or just the inside? If the child lock is on, the door will not open from the inside. What does the door lock **** do, does it not unlock the door? The seat heaters are not recalled, but the do have element issues. It requires some diagnosis to determine which elements have failed, because the front seats have one element in the seat back, and can have three in the cushion(one center element and two thigh elements.

Thanks for the response (gstacey & cadieman) I'm not sure where the lockplate on the rear door is located but when you hit the unlock all the locks pop up but the door that won't unlock doesn't come up as far as all the others, about half distance.I put the window down
stood outside and raised the lock by hand and tried the outside handle in every position of the lock, you can't hear the mechanism
switch or engage. The handle never engages with the linkage just moves up and down freely
any help would be greatly appreciated really would love a inexpensive service manuel in the clarkston, mich area thanks again
