01 Cadillac DTS: I have a friend who is saying that she is seeing white smoke coming out of her tailpipe.

This occurs only when she stops and idles for a moment at a stop light and when she then presses on the gas pedal. Is her head gaskets leaking? Or is her coolant mixing with something else? What are your theories? Hope to hear from you soon. Thx

If there is white smoke coming from the tailpipe, it usually means that coolant is entering the combustion chamber and being burned. I would have the cooling system pressure tested, I would also perform a compression test and cylinder leak-down test on the engine to determine the cause.
