2001 Cadillac Deville Repair Question

Cadillac Deville Gas Problem
When i start my car it turns right off. However, when i start it as long as i'm excelerating it will run, soon as i take my foot of the gas it stops running. what culd be the problem?

take it to the parts store most stores would check the codes for you but this sounds like a throttle position sensor problem.
