2001 Cadillac Deville Repair Question

Low coolant light coming on
Drained radiator and added all new coolant to our 2001 Cadillac Deville even with the reservior full the check coolant light comes on why?

Sticking level sensor in the reservoir. Try tapping on the reservoir with your hand, a rubber mallet, or similar. That usually does the trick. If you can not get it to go off, replacement of the reservoir is the only other option.

this problem is the coolant level switch in the jug.
