Humming noise

2001 buick century makes a humming noise around 25+ mph, the noise pitch gets louder as you accelerate. Changed driver hub assembly yesterday front brakes and rotors but sounds still exists. Seems like its coming from passenger side. (Front) I noticed alot of grease behind passenger wheel but it does make any popping noises as I turn. What could be the problem? Could it still be a hub assembly even though I dont have play when I shake my tire up and down, or is it something else?

Yes the bearing can make noise even though there is no play. Most of the bearings I have replaced didn't have play but made a lot of noise while driving.

Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job.

With the car on a jack stand put it. In neutral and put one hand on the coil spring and use the other hand to spin the wheel as fast as you can. If the bearing is bad you should be able to feel the bad bearing in the coil spring.

I didn't see any tears in the boot. But something odd happened today that I didn't notice. I was on a flat surface in park. I turn my wheel to the left and the rolled a little forward. Then I turned it to the right and it rolled back a little. So I replaced the bearing hub and that did the trick thanks for your help on this.
