Check engine light
2001 330ci check engine light is on. is that a big problem or just an o2 sensor

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis,finding out what's going on.
Go to Autozone they'll scan it for free-

the o2 sensor was just replaced is it possible that its not resetting. do u need to drive it a little ?

Raz is correct, have the scan performed and it will tell you the next step. Driving it wont change the fact that the light is on.
