Turbos

I replaced my turbos in my 2001 audi s4 and before I started it I primed them by taking the fuel pump fuse out and cranking the motor a few times then when I started it I was getting a whining sound so I shut it off right away. U think the turbo is getting oil? when I check my oil dipstick it reads really full but I have only put 4 1/2 quarts of oil in and it should take 6 quarts. Does anyone know why my oil is doing this or what is going on with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I also need to replace both of my turbo on my 2000 S-4 2.7
I have many tools & lift, but does it take any special tools for this job, is it a big job to drop the engine?
Thanks,
Alan
