Crank shaft oil pump drive gear
Hi you guys told me a gear is available for this model i contacted an audi dealer in the city and a twenty five year experienced audi mechanic says hes never heard of replacing this gear and gave me a crankshaft estimate of $2500 now guys whats your reply.

oops? that's good or bad news? was your oil pressure too low? did you ask how many cranks they have replaced?

What engine do you have in your A6?

Sorry, could not find a part that is 100% correct.
Attached is a screen capture of drive gear removal... print it and
take it to the dealer as proof that the gear can be changed.
