Fault indication
2000 VW Golf 1.6L. When engine is started, amber oil lamp flashes 5 times then goes out. It does this every time. Oil level is good. Ideas?

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if its within specs -if okay-might want to change out the oil pressure switch
