2000 Vauxhall Astra Repair Question

I have an astra club v8 which sometimes cuts out when i slow down at traffic lights etc , if i was to put my foot down on throttle it would be ok , ive had a new EGR valve fitted but the problem is still there , an orange light appears that looks like a battery with a star in it b4 it cuts out

Get a scan done to check for trouble codes.
Seems the ifdling speed is too low causing the engine to stall. Try cleaning the IAC and throttle body.
