I was just wondering how often should the fan that blow on the engine turn on because mine turns on very often even though I dont have the ac or heat on. Can u tell me under what circumstances does the fan turn on.

It's based on engine coolant temperature. Most systems turn on at around 210 to 220 degrees. You'll hear the fan run more in the summer and very often during prolonged city driving when natural air flow is low.
