SEAT IBIZA HEATER PROBLEM
2000 SEAT Ibiza • 132,000 miles
Hi, First Part: My radio in a Seat Ibiza 2000 1.4 turns on fine when I start my car but while driving it turns off and I have to turn it back on, this can happen 20 times on my way to work but some days it doesnt happen at all. I think that it is a weather thing as it seems to play up more when it is cold outside but this might just be because of the second part. Second Part: My heating controls dont work at all they use to work for 5minutes once a week but now they dont work at all. The heater is working but I cant change the blower or temp. And as it is winter its freezing outside and the blower is on 1 and temp. Is on cold as the last time it worked was in the summer. I have had a look at the fuses and are all fine. I have seen a couple of posts saying about a black box at the passanger side footwell but the problems are not the same as mine as the heater dont work on them posts, where as mine does just the control dont. If anyone could help that would be great I have had this for about a year now and I cant stand it anymore Thanks, Joe Hall
