Could low transmission fluid cause the Service/wrench light to come on?

Service/wrench light Could low transmission fluid cause the above light to come on and stay on. Transmission seems to work fine and just had the maf sensor replaced.

Hello,

When any given fluid is low, if there is a level sensor you will get a low fluid level warning.

If the transmission fluid is low, the first step would be to add fluid to the correct level. You also want to make sure there is no leak.

The service light comes on as a reminder for oil change.
This light should be reset after the oil change has been completed.

There is a reset button in the fuse box located under the hood. Hold down the reset button for 5 seconds to reset the service indicator.
